Upon completion of the training, you will be able to recognize the signs & symptoms of an opioid overdose, administer naloxone (Narcan) properly, and take necessary follow-up steps. This event is completely free and anyone can sign up! It will take place THIS WEDNESDAY October 10 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm in SU 145 B&E. The United States is currently experiencing its worst Opioid Epidemic in history. You never know when you might find yourself in a position where you need to save someone from an overdose.
