The Evergreen Mobile Food Pantry (from the Food Bank of WNY) arrives at the Evergreen Commons (67 Prospect Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14201) parking lot on the third Thursday of each month. This mobile pantry distributes an average of 4,000-5,000 pounds of perishable foods like fruit, vegetables, dairy products, etc. for about 100 of our clients and community members. *Please note that this event occurs outside each month and volunteers must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. In addition, volunteer must be able to lift 50 pounds. Good customer service is essential to the role. Volunteers will also need to complete a Volunteer Application and two brief online trainings prior to starting their role.
