Decoration and Set Up is one volunteer opportunity and Clean up is another one! Volunteers needed May 24th 4-9:30 The Foundry, an east side business incubation hub and makerspace with a mission to increase neighborhood prosperity by empowering individuals through education and entrepreneurship, hosts Bid to Build to celebrate its most recent successes and to auction off an assortment of handcrafted item to support The Foundry's overall mission and programming. The Event will feature: - Live Auction- handmade items including original home furnishings, sculpture, artwork, and experiential items - Silent Auction- smaller #foundrymade items, gift cards, baskets, etc. - Workshop Tours and Chance to meet the Makers - Music and demonstrations The event supports The Foundry's capacity to offer affordable rental space, mentoring, business classes and workshops, and other supports to small business start ups, as wells as hands on classes and STEM career exploration for boys and girls. We need volunteers to make these awesome things happen! The following jobs need volunteers to fill them: -Decoration and setup -Parking attendants and Security -Registration Desk -Check Out and Late Registration -Auction Setup and attendance -Food Servers -Music -Tour Guides -Clean Up -Photographer The times volunteers are needed vary between 4 and 9:30pm.
