Big Little Service Event: Jessica Lu & Desmond

Date: Apr 24, 2016 at 4:00pm to 5:30pm
Desmond, Jess Lee, Jess Lu, and I will be folding cranes for people with cancer for our big/little service event. Brief description below: -There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck. Cranes for Cancer’s mission is to provide baskets or vases of 1,000 cranes to American cancer patients. The intention of the 1000 cranes is to bring hope and uplift a patient’s spirits. -Paper cranes are a symbol of hope. It is uplifting for cancer patients to see cranes dangling by the window or door. It will remind them to keep persevering and never give up until the end. We will try to fold 1000 paper cranes and give it to hospitals with cancer patients. Will be after GBM!
