his event provides the opportunity for students obtain a BLS-CPR and AED certification on campus at no cost. Due to discrepancies in society, minorities and marginalized populations often do not have the resources to obtain life saving training. CPR training provides the knowledge and skills in order to be prepared in a medical emergency. This event will happen in two parts, the first online before November 14th the skills test in-person on November 16 at 5pm in SAC MPR (please arrive 5 minutes early). This event is RSVP only! You have until October 21st or while spots last. Students have the ability to complete the online portion of the class on their own time but will have to complete the class by November 14th; the login will be sent out through email. Weekly reminders will be sent out to the students who RSVP to complete the class before the skills portion. Free pizza will be provided to all those participating!
