This 1.5 hour class is designed to teach people of all medical and non-medical backgrounds what to do in the case of a life-threatening bleeding emergency before emergency services arrive on scene. A bleeding emergency can result from almost anything, from a car accident to a simple fall. In this class, learn to stop a major bleeding incident in any scenario. You could potentially save a life! This class is two hours long and will include an interactive learning session in a relaxed setting. Each student who completes the class will receive a certificate of completion. UConn Rescue Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least 7 days (as measured by 24 hour increments from the start time of the class) before your scheduled class in order to receive a refund for your class payment. In order to cancel your registration, transfer your registration or request a refund please use the Eventbrite site and your confirmation email to do so.
