Did you know there’s a pill that can prevent HIV? Did you know that you can get it for free? If you didn’t know, why do you think you didn’t know? What can be done to increase knowledge? Join Equitas Health for “Let’s Talk PrEP”, an open forum for Ohio University students to learn about and discuss the current state of HIV Prevention in Ohio. Students will learn about PrEP, PEP, and PAPI, a program through the Ohio Department of Health that can cover the costs of PrEP-related medical services! Following a short presentation, students will be able to give feedback and engage openly about the current state of HIV prevention, HIV in Ohio, and share what they feel is needed to increase access to PrEP in southeastern Ohio.
