Alumnus Wes Lowery is a national reporter for the Washington Post, where he covers issues of race, justice, law enforcement and politics. He has been the paper’s lead reporter on the Black Lives Matter protest movement and was a member of the team awarded the 2016 Pulitzer Prize and George Polk Awards for National Reporting for their coverage of fatal police shootings. Lowery is the author of the New York Times bestseller ”They Can’t Kill Us All: Ferguson, Baltimore and a New Era in America’s Racial Justice Movement.” His reporting and writing has also appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated and The Guardian.
