OU’s Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) is hosting a Paws for Pancakes Fundraiser on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 9am-1pm at Christ the King University Parish (75 Stewart Street). It is $5 per person for all you can eat pancakes, sausage, baked goods, coffee, and orange juice. Proceeds will go toward Josiah, a 4-year-old boy from the Athens area who has moderate to severe Autism. His family raised the required $15,000 for the service dog through the 4 Paws for Ability organization but we are trying to help him raise funds for a two week training program with his dog as well as travel expenses, and dog expenses. There will also be dogs there to play with! You need $10 to make it a service hour, so bring your mom or a friend!
