You do not need to come for the full time, but please volunteer for as long as you can. If you are volunteering for more than one day, camping space will be made available to you free of charge (you will need to bring your own camping gear). In addition to signing up on APO Online, please also reach out to Delta Alpha’s Vice President of Service, Spencer Gerdes, at gerdessr@mail.uc.edu with the subject APO Peterloon Volunteer - [YOUR NAME] (so it doesn't get lost in all of the other emails). Alternatively, you can also direct message Spencer via text at 513-403-3801 or over GroupMe (you can find him in the Delta Alpha Business Chat). Please provide the times/days you can volunteer. Upon arrival at the Dan Beard Scout Reservation, please check in with Spencer Gerdes or Terry Auferman (Delta Alpha’s Scouting Advisor) - they also happen to be event staff volunteer coordinators. Also, please check out with one of them prior to leaving. If you cannot locate either of them, text Spencer when you’re arriving (and leaving) at 513-403-3801 and get with one of the other event staff volunteer coordinators to get your volunteer assignment. FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED TO VOLUNTEERS!!! (who likes free food more than college students?)
