Bring your old mascara wands to the chapter meeting to be donated to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge! Ask anyone you know who wears makeup to save their mascara wands when they run out/it goes bad. Old mascara wands are used to remove fly eggs and larva from the fur of wild animals. They work great because the bristles are close together. **WASH YOUR WANDS BEFORE TURNING THEM IN** **Please don't go buy mascara to donate-- we want to help the animals, but a part of this program is to recycle as well** If you wanna know more: https://www.appalachianwild.org/wands-for-wildlife.html
