Delta Alpha

Ohio/Indiana APO Region Meeting

Date: Nov 17, 2018 at 10:00am to 5:00pm
The new OH/IN Alpha Phi Omega region will be meeting on Saturday, November 17th to make final plans for the regional realignment. Additionally, this will be an opportunity for students and alumni to learn about and discuss pending national convention legislation. Each chapter in Indiana and Ohio is expected to send at least two voting delegates to this meeting. These should be the same voting delegates who will attend the National Convention. Chapters may send additional brothers to participate in the discussion and learn about the legislation. Any students and alumni attending should complete the form at the link below so that we can plan for attendance and food. https://goo.gl/forms/WlmYc2FCPvI8WiyF2 In advance of the meeting, attendees and chapters will be sent the draft Ohio/Indiana Region Policy manual for discussion and change. Additionally, you’ll be sent the proposed Regional Budget which will take effect in the Fall of 2019. Lastly, you will receive from the national office all the proposed legislation for discussion at the national convention in Austin this year. We will discuss and come to a consensus on the Region Policy manual and Regional Budget which will then be formally approved at the national convention. The meeting will take place at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. It is conveniently located directly off I-70 and should be easily accessible for all chapters. The meeting will last from 10a-5p. Lunch will be provided (it will cost $5-10 per person, please bring cash with you on the day of the meeting). Because of the location in the center of the region, we expect that hotel stays will not be needed. However, if you are in need of recommendations for hotels, please contact Matt Bailey (region.5.chair@apo.org) and he can make recommendations. Thank you in advance for your time and dedication in helping the fraternity prepare for region realignment. If you have any questions, please contact Justin Martin (region.6.chair@apo.org) or Matt Bailey (region.5.chair@apo.org)
