Green-Up Day 2014 was Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Burnet Woods. Volunteers met at the Trailside Nature Center (Map) from 8:45a - 12:00p to help get the park ready for the season. Burnet Woods is located right across the street from the University of Cincinnati, accessible from Martin Luther King Drive, Clifton Avenue, and Ludlow/Jefferson Avenue. Please bring a pair of work gloves to the event if you can. All other tools will be provided. Volunteer opportunities will consist of mulching the park, honeysuckle/invasive species removal, grounds beautification, and any other special projects in need of attention. When the work is done, pizza and drinks will be provided for lunch. If you would like to join in the Green-Up day fun this year, you can register on UC.UGIVE.ORG here
