My mom is an activity director at a nursing home and collects donation for "angel tree" gifts so all of the residents at the nursing home have a gift to open on Christmas morning. Donation items include things like hygiene products (shampoo/condition, body wash, body spray, etc.), Clothing items (assorted adult sizes of t shirts, comfy pants, socks, etc.), and fun in room activities (activity books, art supplies, etc.). All items are preferred to be in original package at time of drop-off. I will be collecting items during chapter on December 1st. 1 item equates to 1 hour of service with a max of 3 hours of service being able to receive. Anything donated will be much appreciated! We will also be collecting Christmas/holiday cards to be included in the presents. For an additional service hour, you can make your own Christmas/holiday card to include within the donation (max of 1 service hour).
