The Urban Forestry Advisory Board is hosting a hands-on invasive plant education event with their second annual Clarence Craft Invasive Removal. Volunteers will gain instruction on non-native invasive plant identification and removal techniques, and will help to remove bush honeysuckle and Chinese privet from the areas surrounding this hidden away park and quaint neighborhood pond. People participating in the “Bradford Bounty” will be able to pick up trees during the cleanup. Water and tools will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to wear protective clothing and must wear closed-toe sturdy shoes.
