Please show up 5 minutes before the workday starts. This will give you time to park and find our staff. Some of our locations are quite big, so please plan accordingly and give yourself enough time to be there and ready to go when the workday starts. Please wear proper attire. You will get dirty! Please dress according to the weather and wear layers. Wear boots or closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes. Please be aware that we will have to ask you to wear the “community boots” or ask you to leave if you do not arrive with the appropriate footwear. Please bring these essential items for volunteering: Weather appropriate clothing Closed-toed shoes or boots (no sandals or flip flops) Hat Sunblock Water bottle Please fill out the digital liability waiver before the volunteer workday.
