This will give you time to park and find our staff. Some of our locations are quite big, so please plan accordingly and give yourself enough time to be there and ready to go when the workday starts. Please wear proper attire. You will get dirty! Please dress according to the weather and wear layers. Wear boots or closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes. Please be aware that we will have to ask you to wear the “community boots” or ask you to leave if you do not arrive with the appropriate footwear. Please bring these essential items for volunteering Weather appropriate clothing Closed-toed shoes or boots (no sandals or flip flops) Hat Sunblock Water bottle Because the Agriculture Park is so new, Google maps or Waze will not be able to navigate you to the park correctly. If you have never been to the Agriculture Park before, please type in the address of the Activities and Recreation Center (the ARC): 1701 West Ash Street Columbia, MO 65203. Turn into the ARC’s parking lot and you will see, among other things, a big open air pavilion, a large garden, and a playground. Park next to the playground, and follow the sidewalks and gravel paths to meet our staff outside of the "maintenance barn".
