Outdoor Event!! We will be helping to clean up senior citizens yard! WOOHOO! Greg Ahrens and Kathleen Weinscheck on Saturday 3/17 from 9-12. Their address is 1504 Sylvan Lane. There is street parking available. When you arrive knock on the door. Inside, there are (new) gardening gloves, trash bags, lots of tools, rakes, a tarp, bottled waters, etc. There is quite a bit of trash that’s blown into the front yard, that so that’s an easy place to start. Greg and Kathleen have quite a few perennial plants (the ones that keep coming back on their own each season) so your team will want to take care not to pull those from the root, rather trim them down so they’re about 4-6 inches. Please ask Greg if you are in doubt about what to trim/pull, etc. There are some volunteer trees growing that he wants cut, and there are tools for it. Please bag up all yard waste and ask Greg what he wants you do with it. Likely you will put the bags near the curb for pick-up. If you need anything, please call or text me at 260-433-6428. Chrissy is the coordinator here is her number.
