Helpers should plan to bring water bottles, gloves, & whatever else they need to be comfortable outdoors (sunscreen, hats, good work shoes, etc.). Garden work days typically involve mulching, clearing old plants, adding soil/compost to beds, weeding, repairing raised beds & hoop houses, etc. Folks with gardening, farming, and/or light construction skills are of course very welcome, but no experience is necessary to be helpful on these days - we'll provide plenty of instruction & guidance ;-). AND THEY PROVIDE SNACKS (pot-lucking appreciated but not required).
