REVEL is a series of running events that is gaining a broad presence in the running world by distinguishing its races in a number of ways, including its unique courses, emphasis on runner experience, and partnerships with local communities, nonprofit organizations, sponsors, and government agencies. As the fastest marathon and half marathon in Nevada, Marathon & Half Marathon, this incredibly fast and remarkably beautiful road race takes runners from the forests of Kyle Canyon on Mt Charleston to Las Vegas, Nevada. For this specific service opportunity, we will be assisting the event runners and workers at the finish line with responsibilities ranging from handing out medals, checking bags, providing food/water, and much more. While our shift is scheduled to be four hours, you are more than welcome in assisting in other stations and/or staying longer to volunteer for more hours. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the event coordinator or Service VP. Please make sure to read the "Things to Know" document about what to expect prior to attending service events.
