UNLV Service Day is held once a semester where students, staff, and faculty come together to serve with local nonprofit organizations such as SpreadtheWord, Project150, Catholic Charities, and much more. If interested, please sign up, as the sign up deadline is Wednesday, October 13th. For day of arrival, everyone MUST check-in on-campus on the morning of the event at the Student Union Ballroom on the second floor of the Student Union building. Please be sure to arrive on time, as the specific time will be shared with you before Service Day as some times may vary. **IMPORTANT**For more information on the event, go to https://bit.ly/Fall21ServiceDay to learn more about the participating organizations. When signing up, in the comments, please list what organization you volunteered with that day in order to receive credit. Please keep in mind that due to the variability in shifts, hour distribution may be adjusted according to the length of shift you sign up/organization you choose to participate with. Keep in mind that in order to be a site leader, you are required to attend a 1 hour training and will help guide the site group at the beginning of service day and the reflection at the end of the day. There will be multiple dates for the training, and all resources will be provided. 1 extra hour of service will be awarded to those who sign up for this additional opportunity.
