Spring Youth Service Day (SYSD), one of Alpha Phi Omega’s largest service events, offers an opportunity for members to work alongside Youth Service America’s Global Youth Service Day to provide a special kind of service: serving the youth of all nations through projects for and with them. We will be hosting 2 projects for our chapter to better engage members with local youth, with one of them being the Discovery Children's Museum "Science is Everywhere" event. To honor Earth Week, the museum is asking for volunteers to participate in assisting children at the museum with activities dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the environment. Due to certain restrictions, the event is capped to 5 people. Project details will be discussed more in depth by Chloe to those who sign up. If you have any questions, please inform the Service VP.
