Rebel Service Day happens once a semester where students, staff, and faculty come together to serve with local non-profits. All MUST check in on campus in the morning at the Student Union Courtyard, near the bookstore. T-shirts are provided for 250 participants; we cannot guarantee everyone will get their desired shirt size but we hope to meet everyone's needs. Everyone returns to campus after service at the same time at the courtyard for a sweet treat as a thank-you! Please bring a reusable water bottle; we will have limited ones available for those who do not have one of their own. *All must wear closed-toe shoes AND long pants for working to protect against injury-- improper attire may mean being unable to join your group. ~Contact serve@unlv.edu for questions. Opportunity Village relies heavily on people in the community who donate their time to helping serve men and women with intellectual disabilities. We will be volunteering to work hand-in-hand with the people we serve or assisting with one of our events.
