Service Description: You will have the opportunity to run/walk (~2.9 miles) on the Alpha Zeta team to raise funds for the American Heart Association and awareness for heart disease/stroke. Why sign-up?: Heart disease touches many lives each day and has especially touched our chapter closely this past year. This event offers an incredible opportunity for us to remember those who we've lost, while raising awareness for a very important cause. Is there a fee?: If you register to "run," then there is a $25.00 registration fee that also includes a T-shirt. If you register to "walk," there is no fee, but you are not eligible for a T-shirt until you raise $100.00. __________________________________________________ Event Details: Sign-in begins at 7:30am // Opening ceremony is at 9:00am // Run/Walk begins at 9:15am Registration: 1. If you make a personal donation, that will be donated IN ADDITION to a registration fee. HOUSING: This run/walk is in DAYTON, OH, which is about a 2 hour drive from Lexington. Overnight housing in/near Dayton is available with Dayton-area APO brothers. **If you would be interested in connecting with Dayton-area bros for housing, please indicate so by commenting "I'm interested in overnight housing" below. We cannot promise that we will be able to connect everyone with housing, but promise to do our best to make that happen!** INTER-CHAPTER: You can receive an inter-chapter point by taking a picture with a Dayton bro and learning a fun fact about them.
