THIS IS IT --- All the events you have attended in the Series has led to this, thank you in advance for signing up, you are truly making a difference in the community by supporting this event and GOING BEYOND. The event is going to be 11am-3pm in Funkhouser, we will disperse activities into different rooms after everyone registers! We encourage you to stay the full amount of time so that you can engage with everyone here as well as be involved in the small LFS events throughout. It is all about going beyond what we do daily. The words we say, the service we do, etc. Cost - $10 w/o shirt (1 fundraising pt), $15 with shirt (1.5 fundraising pt) Please Venmo either of us at @jasonzheng00 or @jeffrey-akers This year the walk-a-thon is centered towards homelessness and mental health which affects much of our community and campus members. With that, there will be various LFS events that tie into these! Additionally, 100% of the proceeds will go to various organizations to help their programs grow -- The Hope Center, West Maxwell St Dinner, Lighthouse Ministries Lunch/Dinner, and Gods Pantry. The idea behind this is how we can go beyond just being leaders in our community, friends to those around us, and the service that effects them and ultimately how we as individuals can grow through creating positive impact and change. Impact and change that stems from LFS and fills the lives of the people we go home to and the communities we live in. This is not a one time event or an easy way of getting requirements, it is meant to push you to really truly think and go beyond in all you do. Our organization and the people within it have the power to change how campus helps those living with the unfortunate circumstances of homelessness and/or mental health.
