Unless you have the means to arrive/leave seperately on either the 10th or 11th, This will likely be a weekend long commitment starting from Friday (the 9th). Rebecca will be providing a ride on Friday and Rebecca's family has also graciously offered us a place to stay for the duration of the event. As for the SERVICEs that we will be offering, our team will most likely help with removal of invasive species, or repairing slightly eroded areas of the goose creek hiking trail. Work may include pruning and lopping trees and bushes, clearing drainages of debris or creating new drainage to control erosion, removing downed debris from the trail corridor, removing invasive species like the honeysuckle bush from the trail corridors by sawing and pruning; All projects of which tools will be provided to accomplish. If your staying the night. ***Nourishment DURING service- i.e Lunch LUNCH- The park will provide water; however, I believe we would have to provide our own food or snacks. If needed, we would probably be allowed to leave to eat lunch outside of the park. ***For nourishment OUTSIDE service, i.e- breakfast & dinner, DINNER- We could share a pizza amongst ourselves Friday and make a large helping of speghetti (or other various dinner meal) on Saturday. BREAKFAST- We can either have eggs and pancakes OR stick to basic cereals/POP-tarts. ***Sleep- Although we have a place to stay, remember to bring sleeping bags and other sleep ware/toiletries
