This event will be an appreciation event for the professors here on campus and the work they have done this semester. There will be slips of paper that will have the prompt "If it weren't for your class ,_________, I _________" and students will be able to fill in positive things. For example, one slip might say "If it weren't for your class Professor John Doe, I never would have discovered my passion for science." We will invite all students to write a message to the professors/faculty who have had the most positive impact on them this semester/their time at EKU. The next day we will be delivering these notes to the professor's mailboxes, office, department, ect. so that they can see what their students have to say! (Will technically run the event from 5-7:45, with 15 minutes of prep and clean up time if needed tacked onto the beginning and end).
