This event is widely attended, encourages community engagement, pride in place, and beautifies the downtown area, which boosts support for local businesses. Community members gather for a 3 to 4 hour period to pick up and dispose of litter in their communities. In Partnership with Bluegrass Greensource, they will provide Gloves, Bottled Water, Trash Bags, and a T-Shirt for every Volunteer Clean ups are held rain or shine. Main Street Clean Sweep Coordinator will oversee the entire event and as the main contact person for the City of Richmond."
