The theme this year for National Service Week is literacy! Shift 1: Geared towards 2-K. We'll be doing a variety of letter games to help kids learn to identify letters of the alphabet. Shift 2: Geared towards 1st-5th graders. We'll be doing a poetry workshop to help get kids excited about poetry at a young age! Shift 3: Geared towards 6th-8th graders. We will be helping kids to understand and rework classic literature in a way that is easier to relate to the modern world. Shift 4: Geared towards 9th-12th graders. We will be having a poetry workshop focusing on blackout poetry and found poetry.
