Red River Gorge Hiking Trip

Date: Apr 2, 2016 at 11:00am to 3:00pm
Take advantage of the beginning of spring and come on a hiking trip to Red River Gorge! We'll be going on the either the Original Trail or the Balanced Rock Trail, both of which lead to Natural Bridge and are about a mile long. A mile seems short, but they're pretty steep uphill the whole time, so make sure to bring lots of water! Around 11:00, we will be meeting at 2135 Natural Bridge Rd, which is a parking lot at the beginning of the trail that leads to Natural Bridge. Red River Gorge is about an hour away, so make sure to leave around 10:00 to get there at 11. Price: As most hiking trips are, this trip is free! I recommend stopping by Miguel's Pizza (an awesome pizza place just a few minutes from the trailhead) and buying lunch, but that's up to you! **Update: This is now an Interchapter OR Fellowship event. If you want the interchapter point, make sure to talk to someone from another chapter and fill out this short survey about what you talked about. If you fill out the survey, you will get an interchapter point instead of a fellowship point. For attendance, if you are a driver, make sure to take a picture of everyone in your car and send it to apodaytrip@gmail.com .
