The Hunger Banquet is an annual event sponsored by the Office of Student Life as part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. For those who have attended before, this year's simulation will be a little different than usual. We will use the Fresh Food Company dining hall to demonstrate the variations in food security here at home and around the world. Volunteer tasks: - Distribute status cards to participants at both entrances of the dining hall. - Help direct participants if there is any confusion with their instructions. - Weigh the food waste as customers bring their plates to the conveyor belt. *NOTE* You MUST sign-up on OrgSync (follow this link: https://orgsync.com/55054/opportunities/1285994/occurrences/2877579 ) to participate in this event.
