MISSION: Our mission is to provide comprehensive life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services that promote healing from substance use disorder, mental health disorders, and homelessness. DESCRIPTION: The Jacobs Hope Cafeteria serves over 7,000 meals per month to clients housed in our Emergency Shelter, with dinner available to the general public as well. Our staff prepare and cook the meals and volunteers come in to serve those meals to our clients. If you are interested in serving at the Jacobs Hope Cafeteria, please apply using the “Volunteer Application” button. Once approved, you will be able to login to sign up, reschedule and/or cancel shifts for serving a meal. Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift start time to listen to instructions given by the cafeteria workers. When you arrive, go through the side door marked "Receiving" to enter the kitchen. You will be plating food for community members during your shift!
