The Grand Rapids Jaycees host this event and partner up with local agencies, to bring roughly 100 children to the Cascade Meijer to shop for Christmas presents for their families and loved ones. On the day of the event, the children will arrive at Meijer and be assigned to a mentor shopper; after the shopping is complete, the children will go to the party room to enjoy holiday festivities while their gifts are being wrapped. Our chapter participated in this event last year and it was great! Let's make this an annual event for our chapter.
