Join The Grand Rapids Children Museum for this very special evening for children and families affected by autism. This is an annual event that is free to families affected by autism. Admission is on a reservation basis. We provide valet parking for families to ensure an easy transition. The museum is equipped for the evening with special sensory exhibits, the lights are kept low, and other changes are made to create an atmosphere that is not over stimulating. We look for 40 volunteers for this event. Anyone interested in special education, physical therapy, nursing, or the like are perfect candidates for this special evening.Volunteers will facilitate play experiences for families and help to monitor for safety.
