Groups are needed to sponsor collection and packaging of hygiene products to be given out by Criminal Justice Chaplaincy to women and men returning to our community from jail or prison. After release, individuals often go directly to transitional housing with no clothing, transportation, or money needed to start life on the "outside." Receiving a package of hygiene products can boost their spirits, stretch their dollar, and help them look and feel better when interviewing for jobs. Suggested items are shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, combs, brushes, sanitary pads, tampons, disposable shavers, shaving cream, and deodorant. ----- We also need small to medium sized boxes to put the donate items in. Donating will also get you service hours! When you go home for Thanksgiving ask your families and friends to donate!
