APO National Fraternity History
1. Page 64 of the pledge manual shows the different APO regions in the US
a. Make sure you know the map!
b. There are 11 regions which are broken down into smaller sections
c. This helps make administration of chapters easier
2. Page 42 of the pledge manual talks about National Convention
a. Brothers from all parts of the nation participate
b. Conventions are held biennially
c. In 1950, APO became international and moved to the Philippines
d. In 1967, there was a Constitutional Convention in Norman, Oklahoma
e. Program directors are assigned to major areas (listed on pp 49-50)
