Description of Workshop: Are you looking for a full/part time job, co-op or internship but don’t know where to begin? Are you interested in learning how to expand and use your network? Are you interested in improving your interview skills? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this workshop is perfect for you! This workshop will focus on who your network is, how to expand your network, and most importantly, how to use that network to help you land that job, co-op or internship. This workshop will also help you improve your interview skills by going over the dos and don’ts of interviewing and, time permitting, a chance for mock interviewing and resume review. Please bring a copy of your resume on paper if possible. Bio on the Presenter, Ari Fleischer: Brother Ari Fleischer, Alpha Eta Tau `16, is a founding brother of the Alpha Eta Tau chapter at Hofstra University where he held many different chapter executive positions. Brother Fleischer currently serves as the Region R Chair. Ari has a B.S. in biochemistry from Hofstra and a M.S. in data science from Northeastern University. In his professional life, Ari is a data scientist at MITRE. Outside of work, Ari is a big trivia and board game enthusiast as well as a huge Boston sports fan. Ari also loves to travel and ask him about his goal of visiting every US State of which he has visited 27.
