Purpose: To help keep Grant Park litter and limb free, and beautify the park for all its visitors Role: For this work day, we will be focused solely on picking up trash and tree limbs. You'll be using a trash grabber and bucket (provided by the Grant Park Conservancy) to pick up litter in the park, as well as gathering tree limbs. A few details: - The Conservancy will provide all necessary tools and gloves. - Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots. - Be sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray as needed, and drinking water in a reusable container. No single-use plastic bottles if possible, please. The GPC does not provide water or snacks, so please plan accordingly. - Street parking is available on Park Avenue.
