APO has officially become a partner with the City of Columbus to adopt an area! The adopt an area program is under the Keep Columbus Beautiful campaign, and works to beautify streets/areas/parks of Columbus APO's region is Neil Avenue, specifically in between King Avenue and 9th Avenue. As per our partnership with Columbus, they will be monitoring this area and keeping track of our cleaning efforts, so it is super important :). Materials will be kept in the APO office in the KBK of the union on the third floor. We will have gloves, bags, and likely vests, pokey sticks, and more for our clean-up. The group should meet at the office to get the materials together (a KBK employee will be able to let you in), or everyone can work out another arrangement.
