do u love earth? do u eat food? compost! Composting in residence halls falls in line with Ohio State's goal of achieving zero waste by 2025. Organic waste represents 1/3 of Ohio State's waste stream. Do your part from you dorm to reduce organic waste, and to put your compost to use! Ohio State offers students the opportunity to now compost in their residence halls! Composters who opt-in will receive a 2.1 gallon compost bucket to collect materials from their dorms. After filling the bucket up with food scraps, napkins, paper towels, and compostable containers, composters can empty their bucket in centralized compost bins in each residence hall. To sign up to receive a compost bin, go to the website below, and complete the steps listed : https://fod.osu.edu/compost#student-composting The first step leads u to this form right here: https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8wVFmGWa3VUhV2K To get more information about Residence Hall Composting, go to: https://fod.osu.edu/compost To receive credit for opting-in, email me a photo of you completing the compost bin request form, at apo.internalservice.ai@gmail.com. yay earth!
