Join CLAS and students in SPAN 4558 - Caribbean Narratives Now as we host Ruth Piñón. She is is the creator of AfroHistoria RD, an antiracist tourism project in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She will present the research behind the project and discuss the role of digital humanities in a Caribbean context, particularly in the Dominican Republic, where narratives of blackness are still contested by white supremacy.
