The Special Olympics of Dayton will be having a bowling tournament on Saturday, February 25. They are looking for volunteers from UD to staff the event. Those who are willing to volunteer will report to Beaver Vu Lanes at 12pm on 2/25. At this time, we do not know if there will be one or two shifts of bowling. Each shift lasts about 2 hours depending on the skill of the group we will be working with. If some volunteers can only work one shift, that is ok, I just need to know that in advance. This event will be a lot of fun and it is a great opportunity to get more involved with the club and Special Olympics in the greater Dayton area. TIME: Volunteers should report by Noon - bowling is scheduled to start at 12:30 If you are able to volunteer, please email Mary Koonce, kooncem1@udayton.edu, and let her know if you are interested and whether or not you have transportation to the event.
