Hi Brothers! This is an important opportunity to complete service to the campus! LGBTQ+ Student Serviced recently facilitated a PATH event called "Allying with the Unseen" (designed by student intern, Heather Ashley) where students could come and make supportive notes to closeted LGBTQ+ people. This event was incredibly successful (over 400 students participated!) and we received an overwhelming amount of student support. Now we are planning to put the cards up around different areas of campus, however, for this we will need volunteers.  We will begin putting up cards on campus on Sunday, March 1st. If you want to volunteer, please email Heather at ashleyh1@udayton.edu with what times you are available. You will be assigned areas based on your availability. You can volunteer as a group because some areas will need anywhere between 1-6 volunteers. If you do volunteer as a group, please let Heather know how many are in your goup, and the time and duration of your availability. Here are the steps for what will happen Monday:  1. Come and pick your envelope from the Brook Center in Gosiger Hall, room 116: Heather will confirm your participation and area to be covered, then come and pick up your envelope in the Brook Center with the materials and directions on how to put the cards up. You can pick up your envelopes any time between 9a and the start of your shift(s). 2. Place the cards in your area. 3. After placing your cards, text or email Heather Ashley and Laura Hutchinson (so you can get Service credit) photos of the cards with the name of where they are placed. Then return your envelope and tape to KU. If you finish after 4:30pm, please return your items to the Marycrest front desk. 4. Have a great rest of your day!
