FREE HOT CHOCOLATE. You do NOT have to show up for the entire time, just when you are available. The Applied Theater Class is working with the Human Rights Class/program to put on an event where we will do small theater activities with participants to explore and open up dialogue into the topic of immigration. An example of an activity we might do is called "Yes, and" or "Yes, but" where you are put in a scenario with other actors and you can only respond, "Yes, but......" forcing you to consider the point of view of the other character rather than just ignore them. These activities require group participation and involvement but in small sections to avoid "stage fright". Come have fun and laugh with us while we also take a deeper look into a pressing issue.
