Chris and Nate will be presenting "Talk Their Talk, Walk Your Walk" at the University of Dayton's 2018 Fall Leadership Conference and want you to be their first audience! Program Abstract: There are two parts of being an effective and motivational leader: language and leading through action. In this workshop, we will discuss how word choice and inclusive language can be effective when trying to become a better leader. Through engaging and interactive activities, we will also explore how leading through action-- such as through example and service-- can contribute to a successful leadership style. "Talk Their Talk, Walk Your Walk" features Nate Borries and Chris Tyrell—student leaders of Alpha Phi Omega, a 150+ member co-ed service fraternity, at the University of Dayton.
