When you arrive, you must check in at the admin office inside the gates. April is National Volunteer Month, and Woodland is looking to grow the number of talented and dedicated volunteers to assist with our spring clean-up. Volunteers, groups, and individuals of all ages, interested in working outdoors in Dayton's oldest green space are encouraged to join us for three hours on April 23, 2016. Working with Woodland's staff, volunteers will assist in the spring clean-up of over 200 acres of scenic cemetery landscape. Assigned duties will include raking, debris pick up, weeding, planting and general garden preparation.
