Giving Power Back will center on sessions of lively active engagement to address issues of diversity, cultural competency, and multiculturalism. Through lectures, dialogues, and workshops, the conference examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression, and the ways in which we all are affected by that privilege. There are four sessions- two in the morning and two in the afternoon. People will have choices about where they want to go for each session and there will be a keynote at the end. This is open to all students as well as Dayton community members. Students can earn up to 3 PATH credits for attending the morning sessions, afternoon sessions, and keynote. Lunch will be provided.
