The campus group Creating Inclusive Community will be hosting an open dialogue in response to presidential candidate Ben Carson's presence at UD Arena on Tuesday, specifically in regards to his recent to his anti-Muslim comments. This conversation aims to question how we are fulfilling our role as community members and we hope to hear from many different perspectives. Questions will include: - What responsibility do we as a campus have to respond to Carson's anti-Muslim statements - How do his statements relate to broader xenophobic tendencies both in political discourse and on our campus - What message does Carson's presence send to both domestic and international students, faculty and staff - How do we continue to push for a more critical notion of community here at UD
