The University of Dayton Physical Therapy program is celebrating April Donate Life Month by sponsoring the April 9 UD campus wide blood drive in conjunction with “For Pete’s Sake” organ donor awareness campaign. “For Pete’s Sake” is an annual challenge among faculty and students in Physical Therapy programs at Ohio and Kentucky universities to register organ and tissue donors and encourage blood donations. UD Physical Therapy program will partner with Versiti Community Blood Center to sponsor the blood drive as part of the campaign. There are 87 open blood donation appointments. Donors at this blood drive will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a 35lb chocolate bunny from Esther Price Candies.
