HomeFull has given us the opportunity for 4-6 brothers on a bi-weekly basis will to play board games with children at their Family Living Center. After their founding they were the only daytime shelter in Dayton. They changed their name to HomeFull, as their residents were once homeless or struggled with affordable housing. The volunteer coordinator emphasizes that with these children playing board games with us college students, they can be reminded that they can have the opportunity to go to college too. We volunteered with them through Campus Ministry in preparation for their opening of Gettysburg Grocery in an effort to eliminate food deserts close to the city of Dayton.
